GEOLOGY ALUMNI
Alumni are by far the most important legacy of any academic program. We on the instructional staff are pleased to have had the opportunity to mentor you, however briefly, and take great pride in your various accomplishments, whether in geology or not. Please do stop by Bell Hall whenever you are in Washington or catch up with us sometime on meeting circuit.
If you care to support the Geology program at GWU through monetary gifts of any kind, you can do so by sending a check to the following address:
George Washington University
Phillips Hall, RM 212
801 22nd Street, NW
Washington, DC 20052
In the memo line, you can earmark your donation to a specific fund. The “Geology Department Fund” is an entirely discretionary account that is used to support a range of student activity including travel to professional meetings and extended field trips. The “Geology Endowment Fund” is a restricted fund (we have access only to the yearly earnings) that is used to support student research and to purchase equipment.
You can also give securely online.
We thought that you might enjoy looking back in time through the prism of your experience in Geology at GWU by browsing through the following montage of photos. Do you recognize yourself and your geology friends?
